When you join the Waterdown Lions Club, you’re not just signing up for meetings and minutes. You’re joining a group of people who roll up their sleeves, laugh a lot, and make real, visible change right where we live.
What Do Lions Actually Do?
Short answer: a lot.
Long answer (still fun, we promise):
🦁 Protect vision and eye health – from supporting vision screening to helping provide glasses to those who need them most.
🦁 Fight hunger – through food drives, fundraising, and hands-on support for local families.
🦁 Support youth and seniors – scholarships, community programs, and initiatives that make life a little brighter at both ends of the age spectrum.
🦁 Step up in times of need – Lions are often among the first to help when disasters strike, locally and globally.
🦁 Champion community projects – parks, events, fundraisers, and causes that make our towns better places to live.
Basically, if there’s a way to help, Lions are probably already there — or planning something.
